Washington, DC – The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is seeking applications for individuals to serve on the BPS Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning January 2027 and concluding December 2029. BPS is seeking applicants for five positions: one public member and four pharmacist members. The deadline to submit all application materials is Monday, August 3, 2026 at 5:00pm ET.

Open Positions for the 2027-2029 Term
BPS is currently accepting applications for up to five positions on the BPS Board of Directors. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience is required for consideration to serve on its Board of Directors.
The open positions include:
- One public member position
- Four pharmacist member positions (two incumbents are eligible for re-appointment).
Applicants will be informed of the decision by the end of November 2026.

About the Board of Pharmacy Specialties
The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) was established in 1976 as an autonomous division of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA). The mission of BPS is to improve patient care by positioning BPS Board-Certified Pharmacist Specialists as integral members of multidisciplinary healthcare teams, through recognition and promotion of specialized training, knowledge, and skills for pharmacists in the United States and internationally.
