On this episode, Ellie LaNou, PharmD, BCPS, is joined by Chris Edwards, PharmD, BCPS, FASHP, chair of the BPS Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Specialty Council, to discuss the emergency medicine pharmacy certification examination debuting in 2023. Chris offers his insights to the process of how a specialty certification is created as he and his emergency medicine pharmacy colleagues have worked at the center of the peer-developed and peer-reviewed specialty examination. Chris also shares his background in finding emergency medicine pharmacy and what he is most excited for as this credential goes live.
