A subset from the 2019 National Pharmacist Workforce Summary (NPWS) data (n = 4,557) was used to aggregate the demographics, training, clinical specialties, and practice activities of ambulatory care pharmacists. Within this data, information on active pharmacists and their certifications was highlighted. Ambulatory care pharmacists reported having more training and certifications than the overall sample of pharmacists.
