Washington D.C. – The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is proud to announce the 2025 BPS Ambassadors with their video stories sharing their journey with BPS Board Certification. The five board-certified pharmacists selected to join the BPS Ambassadors are: Raghd Samy Shetewy, BPharm, BCOP; Rafael Sánchez, PharmD, BCACP, AAHIVP, CDCES; Jennifer Wick, PharmD, MPH, BCACP; Angela Wowczuk, PharmD, BCPS; and Danielle Zsido, BCSCP.
“Each pharmacist has their own path to BPS Board Certification. We’re excited to spotlight five pharmacists who reveal what inspired them to get certified, why they stay certified, and how they hope to motivate others to embark on their own board certification journey with BPS,” said Gary C. Yee, PharmD, FCCP, FAPhA, BPS Board of Directors Chair.
The BPS Ambassador program was created in 2020 to spotlight pharmacist specialists and the impact of board certification on their career, patient interactions, interprofessional teams, and/or professional development. The program amplifies unique voices and perspectives in the discussion of pharmacist board certification.
The 2025 BPS Ambassadors discuss their personal journey in pharmacy and their path to board certification within the following videos:

More information about the 2026 cohort of ambassadors will be announced later in 2026.
About the Board of Pharmacy Specialties
The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) was established in 1976 as an autonomous division of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA). The mission of BPS is to improve patient care by positioning BPS Board-Certified Pharmacist Specialists as integral members of multidisciplinary healthcare teams, through recognition and promotion of specialized training, knowledge, and skills for pharmacists in the United States and internationally. Board certification is a recognized credential for determining which pharmacists are qualified to contribute at advanced practice levels given the rigorous standards mandated by BPS board certification and recertification. As of the end of 2024, BPS recognized more than 62,250 pharmacist certifications across 15 specialties.
