Washington D.C. – The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), the premier post-licensure certification organization serving the pharmacy profession, announces the results of the October 2025 Pain Management Pharmacy certification examination administration window.
In the inaugural administration window, 59 out of 97 examinees were successful in the specialty examination offered in Pain Management Pharmacy.
The next registration window for the Board-Certified Pain Management Pharmacist (BCPMP) examination will open on June 8, 2026 and close July 24, 2026. The testing administration window in 2026 for the BCPMP exam will be open from September 1, 2026 to September 21, 2026.
“BPS extends our congratulations to the 59 BCPMPs who have joined the global community of board-certified pharmacists. The passing of the BCPMP certification examination validates that a pain management pharmacist has the advanced knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to optimize the safety and effectiveness of pain pharmacotherapy and supportive care for patients,” said Brian E. Results for BPS examinations administered through the continuously available modality in 2025 will be available in January 2026.
